Haghpat & Sanahin Monasteries (Lori Province)
Located in the Lori region, these 10th-century monasteries are outstanding examples of Armenian religious architecture. In addition to their stunning stone structures, they also served as important centers of education and scholarship.
Etchmiadzin Cathedral & the Archaeological Site of Zvartnots
The Cathedral of Etchmiadzin, founded in the 4th century, is one of the oldest cathedrals in the world and remains a spiritual center for Armenians. Nearby, the ruins of Zvartnots Cathedral, built in the 7th century, showcase remarkable medieval Armenian architecture. Though in ruins today, the site offers deep archaeological and historical insights.


Geghard Monastery & Upper Azat Valley
Carved partly out of the surrounding mountain, the Geghard Monastery is a marvel of 13th-century Armenian stone architecture.
Its dramatic setting in the Upper Azat Valley, surrounded by cliffs and natural beauty, adds to its sacred and visual appeal.
